The YOWDI Ambassador 2015 grants an opportunity for young women passionate about empowering younger generations of women in their community to grow and become relevant to society.

By taking part in the academy, you stand a chance to win the YOWDI Ambassador and enjoy an all-expense paid trip to the 8th Global Assembly for Democracy, Seoul Korea Nov. 1st – 4th, 2015. 

How the program works:

• YOWDI Capacity Summit (June 10th 2015): A One-Day Summit for selected participants in Abuja to discuss the potential and capacity of young women to contribute to nation building in any chosen field of endeavor.

• YOWDI Impact: Participants conduct an activity within their space to inspire other young females to greatness.

• Award (July 15th 2015): All participants shall converge for a 2 days grand finale of speeches, debates, quiz and other exciting activities and the female with the highest score wins the YOWDI Ambassador for 12 months, which shall include an all-expense paid trip to Seoul Korea – Nov. 1st – 4th 2015. The first and second runners up shall win consolation prizes.
