Hush Patriotism

DPlace October

Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.

Inspiring Nigeria through Lives of Immersion
The responsibility of nation building belongs not just to those who occupy obvious positions of power but to every Nigerian. . At this stage of our nationhood where several issues continue to buffet our republic, including Insecurity, unemployment, poor health care, lack of infrastructure, corruption e.t.c. it becomes difficult to ensure success if only a handful of individuals are responsible for a nation of over 120 million individuals.
Nigeria can only be built by Nigerians.
For Nigeria’s development to be sustainable, every man, woman and child must embrace the responsibility for ensuring that the system holds, either through bold acts or quiet submissions. Theyoung teenager who volunteers his services at the local shelter is as much a leader as the local council chairman for each individual in their own unique way seeks to support others
This October, #DPIaceAbj will be encouraging Nigerian youths to live lives of immersion by profiling young Nigerian with the Nigerian dream who have worked tirelessly and often thanklessly to support others in their immediate communities and external surroundings. Through activism, ICT, education, New Media, Agriculture, Health and Business, our young speakers have supported whole communities by providing better access to basic amenities.
These patriotic Nigerians who seek neither fame nor glory will be sharing their individual stories, the challenges, their inspiration and their strategy for ensuring a better country with participants of the program.
Highlights:
  • Ø  Discussing the human capital investment model
  • Ø  Service as the gateway to success
  • Ø  Inspiring a life of immersion
  • Ø  The Nigerian dream retold from a singular perspective
  • Ø  Overcoming Nigeria’s challenges through collective effort

Our lives on this earth is so short and our time is so precious and in the end, all we have is each other.
