ROAD TO GROWTH FOR WOMEN LED BUSINESS IN NIGERIA

Supporting Women Entrepreneurs

The Road to Women’s Business Growth is an initiative to build business skills of women entrepreneurs in Nigeria.

Implemented by the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women, ExxonMobil Foundation, Enterprise Development Centre of the Pan-Atlantic University and Emerging360, the project aims to support women owners of small businesses to grow their enterprises and increase their access to finance. The project will utilize a “blended learning approach” including in class trainings as well as online learning tools.

Targeted at 500 women business owners, the project will span 6 weeks (January – March 2016). Training locations will be in Lagos, Abuja and Uyo and is free but all participants must cover their own travel costs.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Own a business in Nigeria with generated profits for at least 2 years
  • Have 3-49 staff with annual turnover of N3-20 million
  • Have no previous access to loans and open to additional investment
