1Plify, Nigerian innovative students admission portal joins French start-up accelerator program

Nigerian start-up, 1Plify is a portal that connects students directly to institutions of their choice around the world, allowing them apply directly to any of 1Plify partnered institutions. 1Plify has been selected among 11 other start-ups to join NUMA, a French accelerator with interests in the India’s tech eco-system following a rigorous selection process.

NUMA Bengaluru is the first 6-month mentor driven accelerator and growth program for entrepreneurs in India. “The entire NUMA Bengaluru team is excited to have 1Plify as one of the first cohort of startups we will be accelerating. We are revved up to deliver maximum value to these start-ups,” says Naresh Narasimhan, CEO of NUMA Bengaluru.


During the acceleration program, NUMA will provide bootstrapping financing, office space, access to over 400 mentors and industry experts, network of 40,000 IT and end user community, and access to over 500 international investors among other benefits.“We are delighted to join NUMA. As we continue to make admissions easier for students through our portal, the acceleration program is a good step in aiding our growth efforts. It is great to have an international accelerator such as NUMA supporting us on this mission,” says Oluwatobi Soyombo, Co-founder of 1Plify.com.

NUMA is the first accelerator in Paris and has accelerated over 100 start-ups since 2011. About 65 per cent of NUMA start-ups have gone on to raise funds after the program.The acceleration program will take place in Bangalore, India’s Information Technology capital.
