I AM HERE
DPlace International Youth Day Special
I am Here
Globally, young people are considered assets and this is evident in the tremendous accomplishments and numerous contribution youth are making to social development. Specifically in Nigeria, more than ever before young people have demonstrated leadership through active participation in electoral processes, community development and entrepreneurship, which has contributed to nation building in productive ways.
August 12 has been marked by the United Nations to commemorate the International Youth Day. This is a day when issues and challenges that affect young people are discussed by youths and policymakers in order to proffer solutions.
