Wondering what the Career and Entrepreneurship Fair
is all about?
The Career Fair is an event where large numbers of
employers, recruiters and prospective job seekers meet to provide information
about available positions and their companies in general. The setting usually
includes company tables or booths where CVs can be collected and business cards
can be exchanged. Career Fairs provide a convenient location for job seekers to
meet employers. While employers are happy to provide information, they are also
judging applicants who approach them, and in a sense performing miniature job
interviews. People who are confident, assertive, and impressive are likely to
be invited back to the potential employer for a longer conversation.
The
Entrepreneurship Fair is an event that brings Entrepreneurs and business
leaders together for the purpose of mentoring, organising workshops, trading
and networking. The Entrepreneurship Fair will facilitate the processes of
developing and promoting job creation initiatives/programmes.
This is one event you shouldn’t miss. In addition
to the participating Ministries, you also have participating companies for this
fair.
