This noble goal was achieved with the hosting of its first workshop held in Abuja on the 29th of January, 2013 at the Auditorium, Raw Materials Research and Development Council in Maitama District of Abuja.
The theme was "How to write an Exemplary resume" and it was targeted at Youth Corps members serving in the State .
The speaker was dynamic and eloquent Engr Bassey Ettu of the Raw Materials Research and Development Council.
He discussed several key topics with the attendees, some of which were:
1. What is a resume?
2. The difference between a resume and a CV
3. When to use a CV and when to use a resume
4. Basic generic templates of CVs and Resumes
5. What to and not to include in your resume/CV
6. What employers look for in a resume
7. How to ensure you get interviews by brushing up on your CV
And a whole lot more...
it was a highly interactive session attended by more than 30 young Corps members who wished to increase their future job search chances with the perfect Resume.
